I came home to my moms last night and found a nice little surprise in my room – super cute new gym clothes! I’ve always found it so funny how my mom and I are like eachother’s stylists. Every week when I come home I have something cute I’ve found for her and vice versa. And while she almost always hits the mark with something I love, this week she did particularly well.

I love the zebra print on these yoga pants, especially because it’s hot pink which looks so cute against black. And the sequined DKNY tee is absolutely something I can wear to the gym or out and about with a came underneath.

I love the transparent sequins on this tee because it adds just a hint of sparkle without too much bling. Because even I can’t justify wearing bling our for a jog.

I looooove the distressed v-neck – it gives the shirt an edgier look. Plus if it gets beat up while I’m working out it’ll just look like the design of the shirt so I’ll still be able to wear it.

While we’re on the subject of workout wear, what is it about yoga pants that makes your butt look so amazing? Seriously, I can’t stop staring at my butt in the mirror right now. I was gonna post a pic but decided to keep it classy instead =)

Hello lovely readers! Sorry for my absence but my laptop just came back from the doctor, a week and a half and $218 later. And what better way to kick off the return of my incessant blogging than with this fabulous gift I received from one of my subscribers?






Although this gorgeous bedazzled cell phone cover was on my Amazon wish list, I planned on buying it myself since my old one was looking a little worn out. So imagine my surprise when my bff Amanda (who works the front desk at my office) brought the mail by my desk the other day! Judging by the size of the package (that’s what she said) I knew what it is right away, but I have to say in person this is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The pictures I saw definitely don’t do this thing justice. The shade of pink is vibrant and lovely and it’s so shiny it looks like I’m holding a mirrored cell phone up to my ear!

Thursday was one of the worst days ever, until this wonderful little package arrived from Australia courtesy of my dear friend Lauren of LaurenDayMakeup. She and I became fast friends via YouTube about a year ago and I’ve adored her ever since. We bonded quickly over our mutual love of Mariah Carey and all things girly, so it’s a friendship made in heaven! Here’s a look at the goodies I got:

Lauren made this beautiful card herself! How gorgeous is this? The firefly and the little daisy in the upper right-hand corner are all blinged out, and the colors are stunning. I can’t believe she took the time to make something so wonderful for me!




This little notebook has my name on it! I always have a notebook on me for my random creative moments throughout the day, so this now resides in my purse =)




Look at the Hello Kitty stationary! I can’t wait to use this!

I can’t believe I totally spaced on the fact this video came out YESTERDAY!!! That’s how you know I must be really, really, reeeeeeally sick. Cuz there’s no way I would have missed this otherwise. And zomg can I just say I freaking loooove it? Cuz I do. This is exactly the caliber of video I have come to expect from Miss Spears. It’s got big production, amazing costumes and even a kick-ass (not to mention stiletto clad) fight scene. And the makeup – omg I die! Sooooo freaking fabulous right now!






And you just gotta love the blatant product placement. Hey, at least they’re not insulting our intelligence by trying to hide it, right? Plus, she’s using MAKEUP FOREVER concealer which is one of my faves, so I can’t be mad at that. Well done Britney Jean, well done. *applause*

Hey kids-

Over the past few days you’ve probably all been wondering why my site was either looking very weird or not working altogether. Basically I was hacked by some loser on Sunday night and they took over my database, deleting hundreds of posts and basically just wreaking havoc. After a few days of going back and forth with my web-host I finally re-gained control of my site, but unfortunately there is no way to recover all the lost posts. I did have everything saved on my laptop, but because I lost my hard-drive last month guess what went with it – all my files. So it basically looks like 2010 never happened, which sucks but ya know what, 2010 wasn’t that great anyway.

The important thing is I’m back and don’t plan on going anywhere. And to you my dear hacker- if you were trying to stop me, I’m sorry but you should have picked a weaker person to mess with. You may have caused a few days of inconvenience, but in the grand scheme of life this was nothing. YOU are nothing. After all I’ve been through and all I’ve survived over the last decade, I’ll be damned if I get sidetracked by some sad individual with nothing better to do than hate on those who are doing so much better than they are. I’m sure your life sucks and all, but I suggest you turn your focus from messing with others to getting yourself together. Then maybe you too can know how it feels to work hard and find success as opposed to failure – which is clearly something you know all too well.

As for the future of BeautyChaotic.com, it’s full speed ahead. I will continue posting regularly and will try to save as many past blogs as I can. I do have a few of the most recent blogs saved on my new computer, as well as all my YouTube videos so thankfully all is not lost. Anyway, here’s to fresh starts.
